The Land of the Lost Would Have Been Terrifying


Dinosaurs? Okay, sure. I expect that. But snakes that ate crocodiles? That is messed up.

Scientists in Colombia discovered the remains of the biggest snake that ever lived--2,500 pounds, 42.7 feet long.

Know how big the largest python and anacondas are? Not even 20 feet.


With the best quote ever, expedition leader and paleontologist Jonathan Bloch said:

"The snake that tried to eat Jennifer Lopez in the movie 'Anaconda' was not as big as the one we found."

Count your blessings, JLo, that this thing lived a few million years ago.
