Friday Lovely

At this point, it's no secret that Audrey Hepburn was one of the loveliest people in Hollywood--ever. Check out some beautiful pictures of her.

The caption to a few of the pictures:

"Audrey Hepburn composes a letter in a palm grove, circa 1955. Hepburn loved nature, and preferred gardening and the quiet life to the glamorous parties of Hollywood."

"'People associate me with a time when movies were pleasant, when women wore pretty dresses in films, and you heard beautiful music,' she once said."

"'I'm an introvert. Playing the extroverted girl was the hardest thing I ever did,' she said of [playing Holly Golightly]."

Audrey's an introvert, too!

Post-Partum Depression Sounds Pretty Good About Now

Hollywood is so messed up about motherhood. They're all excited about the babies and the baby-stomach until the baby's actually born. Then you better be in a swimsuit in a week.

Take Jessica Alba in Elle Magazine:

On snapping back into shape so quickly after giving birth: "I did it for the Campari job. [The workouts] were horrible. I cried. And I haven’t worked out since.”

I get it. She's being paid to look good. She doesn't have to take the job. But seriously, isn't it kind of messed up to make a new mother cry in her workouts? Like hormonal imbalances aren't enough.

Her secret to looking slim after giving birth: “I wore a girdle. Eight weeks after my girlfriend had her baby, you could see her six-pack. She told me to put an elastic band around my waist – any kind of band or girdle works. She was like, “I slept in it.” I didn’t recover as fast as she did. I don’t have a six-pack – that’s just not my body at all.”

Yeah, Jessica. Your body is so not rocking. If she's worried about six-packs and sleeping in girdles, what are the rest of us supposed to do?

Having a baby used to be scary because you could die in childbirth. Now it's scary because you need to be a size 2 again immediately after popping out that kid.

The Feel Good Movie of the Season

You only thought The Dark Knight was a bestseller until this came along.

I Love You, But Mostly I Love Attention

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony recently renewed their marriage vows.

Their first wedding? On June 5, 2004. Which means they haven't hit their 5th anniversary yet. Sure, in Hollywood, that can be a golden anniversary, but seriously guys? Are you going to do this every four years? I don't really get the renewal thing anyway--unless it's your 50th, maybe--but this sounds like a move to get in people's heads again.

Baby Mama Drama

Sources say that Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant again.

Come on, Jamie Lynn. It's only been four months since you had this first baby. At least wait until after prom for your next one. Give your uterus a break!

I wonder what Nickelodeon will do. They were "supportive" the first time around, but this has got to be embarrassing. I guess Zoey has been skipping health class. Pick up a free condom at the nurse's office, please.

Apparently the Spears family is really fertile. Kind of makes you believe Idiocracy might actually be an accurate view of the future, right?

40 Days and 40 Nights (of Reading)

Even celebrities think libraries are sexy.

Part of me wants to say, "Come on, Josh, go have sex in your big, fancy hotel room already." But then I have to stop and say, "Okay, I get it."

I wonder who the Mystery Lady is. Sexy librarian?
