Coping mechanism

When it's nearly 3am and you're still at work, you need a way to deal. For me, that method comes in the form of beautiful soulful music, preferably with a bluesy riff, because we all know the blues are about hard times, and working too much is hard times if ever there were some.

Sometimes it's Warren Zevon, but tonight it's the Band. This clip is from the Last Waltz, probably the only movie I love despite having never seen it in its entirety. It's amazing. Just enjoy.



I'm pretty sure I would have had a crush on Levon Helm (drummer/singer) if I'd been born about 35 years earlier. Heck, even with the age difference I have a music boner for him.
